Hardcover bound in blue textured cloth. The bindings show rubbing and wear, and the spines are a little sunned. Volume III is a little shaken, and the rear inner hinge is starting. The third volume also has some damping at the top of the front cover. Pages 149-172 have a large hard crease, affecting the text at the bottom corner and up the fore edge, affecting the text, and the last few leaves of this section have the folded section broken off. Thus, a reading or reference set only. The other two volumes seem sound and clean within.

Not much space is devoted to his ancestors, and his descendants spread across Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, and other places.
