The jacket shows some rubbing and wear with a few brief edge tears. Headcap of the jacket spine is a little abraded, and there is a small nick in the jacket spine to the side of the title. Original owner's July, 1957 inscription (from Haddonfield, New Jersey) on the front flyleaf. The same owner has written on the rear pastedown, "The Helen in this book is our good friend Helen Warren. Everything about New York is joy to me so I enjoyed this story. chuckled at the way these little spidery quick tugboats put each queen in her place!" The copyright date is 1956, but the code beneath reads "B-4.57 [MH]" which indicates an April, 1957 printing. Illustrated with photos.
