The hinges are a little rubbed but secure. The corners are bumped. A couple of gatherings in the middle of the book are slightly sprung. The text is toned but generally clean. There is an early ink inscription on the front flyleaf from Pelham Library's annual meeting. Alexander Proudfit (1770-1843) was born in Lancaster County, Pennsyvlania and died in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1843. He was the minister of the Associate Reformed Church of Salem for about 40 years.
