There is but minor wear and no damage to the book, but time has left its marks, by the way of toning and minor stains tot he hardcover panels. Inside, the inside cover shows some signs of stains from the paper's acidity

This copy has moderate shelf and handling wear and some toning and moisture stains on the page edges. There is only one crease along the spine. Aside from the before mentioned issues, this book copy is free of marks, damage, or major stains. This is a Very Attractive example of this book!

The classical epic poem by Persian astrologer, Omar Khayyam, translated in prose by Edward Fitzgerald and graced with the stunning, sometimes shocking, always delightful exquisite illustrations of Edmund J. Sullivan. Yeah, I'm impressed. The copy is in GOOD, condition, with mild wear and fading "firm" cover boards. Inside there are but a few blemishes aside from expected toning of the inside pages. On the inside front paper, there is the remnant of some adhesive identification label that has been partially peeled off. A truly enjoyable book.

The History of the Vandalic Wars by Procopius were written in 2 books, both of which are included in this tome, with English translations by H.B. Dewing. This copy is in FINE USED Condition, with little sign of being read, as there are no creases anywhere on the front cover or spine. There is very minor shelf wear but no outright damage, writing, notes, or highlights. A few drops of a clear drying glue or enamel are stuck to the front cover. Since the material has dried clear, it is very difficult to SEE, easier top FEEL.
