Original cream cloth, with black and gilt decoration to boards and spine. Decorative endpapers. Pencil holder. Slightly bumped to corners. Some slight discoloration to boards. Contains in addition to the calendars, the seating plans of the Berliner theatre, Berlin City maps etc. In addition a wealth of cultural contributions, such as theatre productions, festivals, costumes and fashions, museums and monuments, travel descriptions, local historical essays as well as other articles, including on military, naval and aviation incidents during the First World War, with photographs.
Rudolph Hertzog (1815-1894) German entrepreneur and founder of the famous department store in Berlin, producing an annual agenda of around 200 pages, which was overseen by Paul Lindenberg and Rudolf Pietsch, and others.

Rare: no library holdings recorded worldwide.Practical resources for fiancées and newlyweds. Photographs of views in Switzerland. Numerous period advertisements. Jean Frey (1861 - 1951) founded his art printers in Zurich in 1889. From 1919 it was known as Jean Frey AG. This rare volume is dated from c. 1907 from advertisements within, and cannot be later than 1919 as it has the earlier printer's device to the final page.

Original cream, red and black embossed boards. Spine and corners a little rubbed. A nice copy, complete with all cards carefully mounted.
The Sturm Cigarette Company (Sturm Zigaretten, Storm Cigarettes or Military Assault Cigarettes) was created by the Nazi Party's Sturmabteilung (SA). The plans originated in 1929 when Arthur Dressler proposed setting up the factory in Dresden, the centre for cigarette production in Germany.. The sale of its cigarettes provided the SA with operating funds. Coercion and violence were used to increase sales. The Nazi Storm troopers were not only encouraged to smoke the Sturm Cigarettes, indeed they were forbidden to smoke other brands.

Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Batty (1789-1848) army officer and artist Batty compiled books illustrated with plates etched by himself. He served in the Peninsular War, in the Duke of Wellington's 1815 Campaign, at Waterloo, where he was injured in the thigh. "Following Wellington's victory, Batty entered Paris with the 3rd battalion on 7 July, having en route been at the storming of the fortress of PĂ©ronne on 26 June.
