Cast list for the first American performance (Columbia Theatre in Washington, October of 1908) and the first British performance (Court Theatre in London, January of 1914) on page ix of the preliminary section. Five appendices: "The Melting Pot in Action", "The Pogrom", "The Story of Daniel Melsa", "Beilis and America", "The Alien in the Melting Pot". Eighteen page afterword by the author dated January of 1914. Six pages of publisher's adverts at the back. Previous owner's name on the front paste down end paper. The externals show mild wear to the fore corners and spine tips. The interior is clean and the binding is tight. .

New York.: John B. Alden.. Very Good- with no dust jacket. 1887. Hardcover. 12mo - 18.5 x 10.5 cm.; Three un-numbered preliminary pages followed by numbered pages 202 to 302. Dark maroon cloth over thin boards with black lettering, title only, on the spine, black decorations on the front board with gilt lettering on the front. First performed in 1596 as the "Comedy of Humors", this play was recast two years later and entitled "Every Man in His Humor". Mild wear to the board corners and spine tips, the spine is a tad faded and the back board has some minor soiling. The text block is staple bound on the flat as issued with the staples visible in the gutter twixt the title page and the front free end paper. Both end paper gutters have minor tearing of the paper. Two previous owner's names and dates on the front free end paper, a father and son. The binding is still very tight and the interior is clean. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted. .

Yapped edges on open sides of the covers of 1/2 cm. From the seventh preliminary page: "Performed at Grantham Training College, Kowloon, Hong Kong, on April 2nd, 1955, by the Wah Yan Dramatic Society". The cast list follows with Fr. Sheridan given as the producer and the publication is printed by the Standard Press of Hong Kong. The yapped edges show minor wear consistent with this type of binding and there are a few spots staining the front wrap on the tail edge. Otherwise very clean with a tight binding. .
