Hardcover. 8973001167 . 8vo - 22.5 x 15 cm.; xii - 327 pp. Gray-blue cloth over boards with gilt lettering on the spine and the front board. First published in 1976, this is the second edition. Red book mark ribbon set into the headband. From the title page: "An abridged and translated edition of "Han'Guk Yosong-Sa" which was written under the direction of the Committe for the Compilation of the History of Korean Women". The original Korean text was published in 1972. Kim Yung-Chung is a professor of history at the Ewha Womans University in Seoul. Nine page bibliography and a 17 page general index. Loosely laid in is what appears to be a page of notes written by a professor to one of her students with regards pertinent passages in the book. Very minor wear to both the book and the dust jacket. The book is clean with a sound binding. Small coded (with a date?) remainder mark on the tail edge of the text block. .

Hardcover. 0815803168 . 8vo - 23.5 x 15.5 cm.; 359 pp. Blue cloth over boards with gilt lettering on the spine and the front board. Four page bibliography and a 9 page general index. The library markings, none of which are external, are a stamp on the title page and unused attachments on the back free end paper. Taped in on the front paste down end paper is a newspaper's obituary notice for Fr. Hagerty and taped in on the half title page is a longish note from Fr. Hagerty dated April 8, 1977 and addressed to an old friend. Also signed by the author on the front free end paper with a long inscription to a monsignor in Indiana and dated March 7, 1976. Both the front and back flaps of the dust jacket are loosely laid in. The book is otherwise clean with a sound binding with only mild wear to the spine tips and the fore corners of the boards. A clear and removable archival cover has been fitted.; Signed by Author .

First published in 1936, this is the second printing. A collection of 10 poems by Sister Madeleva, a professed religious of the Congregation of the Holy Cross. The library markings are an attachment remain on the verso of the second to last blank page and hand lettered titling on a library applied black cloth tape on the spine. Mild wear and rubbing to the fore corners of the boards and soiling/darkening to the fore edge margins of the boards The binding itself is a wee bit shaken though still good. Signed, with an inscription, by the author on the front free end paper with the previous owner's name and date directly below. (Again . . .it is what it is.); Signed by Author .

Boemer and Père B. Gerwe, Dutch by Père Noyens and M. Traest and W. Dekkers and De Munter and F. Eykans and G. Helderenberg, Polish by Père Sobierajski. Illustrations are by Père J.-B. Abadie. All music has the melody line with full lyrics, some refrains and antiphons have accompaniment and a few pieces are in Gregorian chant notation.
