Theories on whether using the cold bath to cure all fevers is a fraudulent science or not with the papers of Drs. Simon Baruch and G. C. Smythe on the treatment of Typhoid Fever with cold water. The author is a proponent of the use of water as a therapy and/or cure and goes on to discuss its various beneficial applications while he also continuously chastises the medical profession for their derision of Hydropathy. The author was definitely a radical thinker who believed the medical profession did more harm than good for their patients. Ink ownership on blank page, also, "don't believe all this fellow says" at bottom of page.
