Description:
US: Cyberwit.net, 2006. Paperback. Good/None. **SIGNED/INSCRIBED**to poet Moira Bailis. Book Description\nThis poetry collection of mine has been nearly ten years in the writing. I began when I first met my wife back in August of 1996. I jotted poems down in small pocket pads, notebooks, and computer files. I submitted many of them to editors in hope of publication and delighted when they were accepted. It was an ideal way to share the feelings I had for Sharon with, hopefully, a great deal of readers. Sometime later I started filling small journals with poems and giving them to my wife on the occasions of her birthday, our anniversary, Easter, and Christmas. We would go out to dinner, then come home and I would read to her another book of poems. Finally, putting these Sharon poems together in A Dusting of Star Fall: Love Poems made sense to me. Of all the poems I have written since the 1950s when I first began writing poems, this collection includes my favorites because they are all love-inspired.… Read More

Interior unmarked save for creased prelim page with half inch closed tear that has owner's name and date in ink. Pages separated and repaired by owner at preface page and page 33; Sewn binding holds firm nonetheless. Tears to half dozen pages do not affect text block. Description:
Justarip. Paperback. Near Fine-/None. Signed/Inscribed. Glossy blue pictorial softcover. Light crease on front cover. Interior is unmarked and binding is sound. Inscribed by Riker. Signed by both Riker and Scott. 'The Nature of Beyond is a visual and textual foray by artist and poet in the nature of beyond and those varying degrees between dream and reality. Through juxtaposing artwork with poem, the journey begins with the simple haiku of a single bird singing and how his simple song affects the world and finishing with the essay of a mysterious package at the local post office emitting small chirps calling from beyond. It is the hope of the artist and the poet to guide your search through these pages to find your own personal nature of beyond. Wherever it leads and whatever the discovery, may you enjoy the journey.'

'This collection offers an evocative portrait of Wendy Fulton Steginsky's island home--memories rich with the texture of limestone and laden with the scent of cedar. For anyone who has experienced the nostalgia of exile, these poems are a reminder of how the landscape of our original home is the one that haunts us, serving as the measuring stick for all future experiences. We are given a sense in this collection of how Steginsky's Bermuda has found its way beyond the reef line of its remote Atlantic shoals and appears now, through the conduit of her imaginings, winding through the dusk of another world and blending with the experiences of another… Read More
