Number 23 and 37 of 50 copies, each signed by the artist at the colophon. Volume 1 is Werkverzeichnis der Druckgrafik 1963-1974 and published in 1983. Bound with original woodcuts to the boards and endpapers. With the original glassine wrappers in near perfect condition. Volume 2 is Werkverzeichnis der Druckgrafik 1974-1982 and published in 1987. Bound in blue cloth with the dustjacket with 3 original etchings by the artist. Also with the original glassine wrapper in near perfect condition. The catalogue describes a total of 436 works (with states), all of which are illustrated. First edition Near fine Hardcovers in slipcases.

c.1991. Unique artist's book. Three double sided, hand written sheets of paper in the artist's scrawl. (1) Referring to the Arabic origin of the word "giraffe" and its common root with the word "elegance" in the Arabic language. (2) About the giraffe given to a Medici by the Sultan of Egypt in 1487 and (3) about Fynes Moryson who went to Constantinople in 1597 and encountered the strange beast. Concertina fold with six panels illustrated in pencil. Enclosed is an original invoice for the book, made out to the South African poet Patrick Cullinan in 1991. Giraffe hoof and horn to the front covers. Binding: plywood, card, and felt. Some light wear, general condition very good. Perskor. Met 5 houtsneë deur Alice Goldin. Uitgegee op 15 Januarie 1984 ter herdenking van die tiende sterfdag van die digter Wilhelm Knobel (26 October 1935 - 4 Januarie 1974). Signed by author and illustrator on the half title. Numbered 7 or 25 copies with the five woodcuts by Goldin on handmade paper and signed and numbered (7/25) in pencil. Hand printed text by Phil du Plessis at his home in Kalk Bay. First edition, artist's book Fine Card wraps with a string binding.

Kammerdrucke. Verlag Winterthur, 1943. Seven prints from hand-etched zinc plates. Each signed in pencil by the artist and with a separate sheet of text in German. Number 5 or 312 copies. Some light signs of handling to the sheets, but all plates clean. Housed in a solander case which is splitting at the spine and has some edgewear.

1947. 'Flight into Egypt'During the Second World War much of London, and Britain's other major cities, were scarred with bomb damage. The Lyons teashops had not received any maintenance, other than urgent structural attention, during the five years the war lasted. They were showing signs of shabbiness but little could be done while materials were in short supply. In 1947, Felix and Julian Salmon (Directors), thought that the interiors could be brightened by some pictures and they approached Jack Beddington (1893-1959), Artistic Director of Shell-Mex, for advice. Lyons were aware of the successful 1930s advertising campaign which Shell Mex had undertaken and this seemed like a good starting point. William Pickering, 1845. With all 24 hand coloured, lithographed plates and flimsies, lacks the title page. Covers worn, with tide marks and a new cloth spine. 2cm chip to the corner of one plate - does not affect the image. Tide marks to the edges of 4 plates - not affecting the image. Plate 25 detached. Some light scattered foxing and browning. Originally advertised in 1845 at 10 shillings for uncoloured plates and 20 shillings for the coloured plates.

Smith Elder and Co., 1911. This the de luxe edition, printed on Japanese Vellum is limited to 15 copies. This copy is number 10. The standard edition of this work is limited to 100 copies. Signed by Fairfax to the limitation page and complete with six etchings by Lionel Lindsay. Each one signed in pencil. An exceedingly scarce publication.
