New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1955. A talented major-leaguer, Piersall suffered from what we now term bi-polar disorder. His account of his struggles was made into a movie. First published by Atlantic, and surprisingly uncommon. This is a Near Fine copy of the reprinted popular edition. Brown "tweed" cloth binding with black titling on the spine. Clean text; 217 pages. Red topstain is slightly faded; else Fine. The dustjacket is Very Good, with light edgewear and some slight soiling. In an archival plastic protector.. Reprint Edition. Hard Cover.
