Biography of Lord Campbell, High Chancellor of Great Britain. Edited, with a preface, by his daughter, Mrs. Hardcastle. 528 pages. Frontispiece portrait of Lord Campbell. A beautifully bound book with five hubbed spines, gilt titles and designs, with marbled endpapers and page edges. Previous owner's name and date of Dec. 1881 on title page. Wear to head of spine as well as board edges and corners. There is also wear on the front and rear board. Despite the flaws, the book remains a very handsome, firmly bound, addition to one's library shelf.

Williams has SIGNED a warm inscription to a daughter and her husband from their mother who knew the author. The woman has written a brief gift inscription on the inside front cover, and laid in is a letter from the mother to the couple on the anniversary. Light fading to rubbed dust jacket spine. Unpaginated, but about 120 pages. A nice signed copy with original UK price on the dust jacket flap.
