Seven Autographed Signed Letters

Addressed from Bodmin, to George C. Boase, dated between June 1869 to July 1870, supplying detailed information on the published works of Couch and other Cornish worthies, to assist in the soon to be published "Bibliotheca Cornubiensis". With an article by Thomas Q. Couch, "The Prior's Cross". One letter has detailed references to James Polkinhorne the Cornish wrestler who was born at St. Keverne in 1788, and fought a key match with the Devonshire champion one Abraham Cann at Devonport in 1826.
