Description:
N.p.: N.p.. Draft script for an unproduced film. A twisted vision of the beginnings of a post-apocalyptic world, which starts with a plane exploding over southern Sweden. Soon everyone is a peninsular town begins getting sick with the same illness, which the doctor has never seen before. As soon as he calls the county medical examiner about it, the area is quarantined and shut off from information. Set in Sweden. Blue titled wrappers with no credit for the screenwriter. 84 leaves, with last page of text numbered 84. Mechanical duplication. Pages Very Good plus, wrapper Very Good plus bound with staples.

Description:
Hollywood: William Castle Productions / Paramount Pictures, 1974. Revised Final Draft script for the 1975 film, "Bug," here under its working title, "The Hephaestus Plague." "Bug" in manuscript pencil just below the title on the title page. Based on Thomas Page's 1973 novel. James Parmiter (Dillman) is a mad scientist who discovers the presence of a bizarre strain of mutant cockroach emerging from the earth after a severe earthquake. Although larger than the average beetle, the most disturbing aspect of the critters is their innate ability to ignite fires with their bodies-a talent dramatically revealed after a few of the bugs crawl up a vehicle's tailpipe. When Dillman discovers that the creatures possess a group intelligence, he attempts to train and breed them. Gimmick-horror auteur William Castle's final film, an entertaining throwback to the mutant-monsters of 1950s horror cinema. Set in Riverside, California, and shot there on location. Green titled wrappers, with die-cut window. Title…

Hollywood, CA: Paramount Pictures, 1977. Vintage Treatment script for an unproduced film. The story in the early treatment script found here is divided into three parts and 21 acts beginning on page 41. The preceding 40 pages are broken into three main sections, "The Story and How It is Told," "Danger," and "The Characters," to which screenwriter Robert Bloch devotes 36 pages and divides into three sections, "The Principals," "The Supporting Roles," and "The Comet." Famed author Bloch's substantial early treatment of H.G. Wells' 1906 novel, "In the Days of the Comet," which was created for legendary animator, director, and producer George Pal, noted as "A George Pal Production" on the front wrapper, for CBS television, which Bloch envisioned as a 1980 CBS mini-series. Unfortunately, Pal suffered a sudden heart attack on May 2, 1980, and the project remains one of Bloch's several unproduced screenplays. A story of a mismatched working class love affair during a time of potentially catastrophic war,…

Description:
N.p.: John Boorman Productions, 1974. Vintage borderless double weight photograph from the 1974 film. Rubber stamp crediting Michel Ciment on the verso. After the critical and commercial success of 1972's "Deliverance," director John Boorman was given almost total creative freedom for his next film. He responded by costuming Sean Connery (in only his second post-Bond film) in red briefs and suspenders, thigh-high boots, a handlebar mustache, and a long braid, and setting him loose in a utopian city of nearly catatonically bored immortals as a ruthless killer doing the violent bidding of a giant, floating, talking stone head. In his spare time, he mates and has a child with Charlotte Rampling. Somewhat obviously, the film has since become a cult classic. Shot on location in Ireland. 9.25 x 7 inches. Near Fine, some light edgewear. Arrow 1147.

Description:
N.p.: N.p., 1988. Two Draft scripts, from 1987 and 1988, for an unproduced film. Both drafts SIGNED by screenwriter David Henderson in manuscript ink on the title page in 1992, and each has a lengthy inscription about the development of the script, noting "Michael L. Parker" and his investment in the film, the script's general plot and characters, a proposed directorial role for Robert N. Zagone ("San Francisco Rock: A Night at the Family Dog," 1970 television movie), and revisions Henderson made in order to "make the film roughly a page a minute." A cursory look at the script leads us to believe the story is set in a desolate, perhaps post-apocalyptic Southwest landscape, and the overall theme seems to have crime/thriller elements (i.e. murder, guns, swords). 1987 draft: Blue stiff titled wrappers. Title page present, dated 1987, with credits for screenwriters Henderson and Zagone. 138 leaves, mechanical duplication. Pages Fine, wrapper Near Fine, internally prong binding. 1988 draft: Light…
