Blue cloth with silver titling on spine, blind-stamped titling on front, red end papers, small black and white frontispiece, illustrated throughout with colour plates, 311 pages. There are some tiny foxing spots and small pale stains/spots to text block edge: more on the lower edge and less on the upper corner and edge; in some cases, these stains can be seen at edges of pages involved, text is otherwise clean. There are some tiny black specks on frontispiece page from the inscription, binding is tight. Dust jacket has light edge wear, a one-inch closed tear to upper spine end has been repaired on the reverse side with clear tape, a quarter-inch closed tear to lower spine end, jacket has shelf wear with some light pressure marks, small pale foxing spots on spine, light crease to upper and lower rear rear edge.
