A British Doctor Borrowed The Name To Describe The Original Syndrome In 1951. Meanwhile, John Carswell Revived And Edited The First English Version. The Illustrations By Ronald Searle Are "Absurdly And Convincingly Real" (Times Literary Supplement). This Copy, A First Thus Edition, May Well Be Unread, But It Does Have Some Flaws, Including Some Light Creasing And Both A Price Tag Pull And A Pinhead Size Hole To The Front Cover. This Moderately Thick Quarto Will Probably Incur Shipping Charges Close To Twenty Dollars Canadian.

Ouellette Is Apparently Very Popular In Quebec. A Version Of This Novel Was Produced For Television. A Very Good Copy In Like Dust Jacket.
