In Yellow paper covers and lettered in gold (slightly dulled) . An attractive little book - Sized 3.4" x 2.1" (8.7 cm x 5.2 cm). 8 pages (25-28pp and 45-48pp) have the bottom BLANK edges CUT OFF, but with hardly any loss to the text, except for some slight close-trimming, particularly to the fore-edge of page 26, where the December dates (1 to 31) from 20 onwards have lost the first digit. The first part of the book is a straight forward Almanac, each page with a blank page for notes opposite (nothing written on any). From page 28 onwards there are pages of 'Useful Information' - similar to that in our current diaries. In the ORIGINAL black printed/lettered and bordered, front and back, paper covered boards. The paper of the spine is titled/banded in black. The paper of the spine is split/splitting along most of the edges. The paper head/tail of the spine is missing circa .0.5 cm, and the corners/edges are bumped/rubbed, but overall it is unusual to find such early Black Printed paper covered boards in such a pretty good condition. The book is cut out in the shape of a Vase with Pansies, and the front cover is in full vibrant colour with 1914 in gold on the vase. Internally it shows the days of the months with Saint's names for each day. At the end are the names and dates of Jewish Festivals; Genealogies of German 'Rulers' (?
