The true story of one of the most daring of French bank robberies, that of the Societe Generale Bank in Nice by Albert Spaggiari and his band of techno-thieves. As intriguing as the robbery is the personality of the leader of the bank robbers -- Albert Spaggiari. The backstrip and part of the rear dustwrapper panel have become brown and a little foxed. Clipping of the dustwrapper, front fold over, lower right-hand corner. Browning to the verso of the dustwrapper, confined to the backstrip and fold over crease areas, and scattered foxing is also noted. The author sought out the ex-convicts who had built new lives for themselves and found that, however prosperous, powerful and even respectable they had become, they could never quite stifle a yearning for adventure.
