With 6 figures on 2 wood engraved plates. ¶ Copy with author's autograph dedication....The author was a surgeon at the Gand Civil Hospital and assistant to the Gand University. In this paper he described new catheter (after his invention) for urethral irrigation in Gonorrhea. The instrument was manufactured by the instrument maker Klein of Gent.--(Off print from: Annales de la Soc. de Méd. de Gand, 1889).

Kröner. ¶ This wellknown atlas is a masterpiece of medical illustration.

The first part here in 2nd corrected & enlarged edition was originally published in 1773 as "Methode familière pour guérir les Maladies Vénériennes", and was nothing more than an attempt to promote the use of author's nostrum "chocolat aphrodisiaque & anti-syphilique". Buschmann of Antwerp.The author was a well-known dermatologist and syphilologist of Bruxelles. He, i.a., investigated the treatment of Syphilis with arsenic preparations. Very nice copy.
