Slipcase: Solander box with some light marking and a some bumping to corners and edges, some small spots to top edge. Overall case condition is Very Good Minus. Book: Limited Edition No. 258/1000. Full calf leather binding to the atlas, purple buckram binding to the commentary volume. Apart from the expected natural flaws in the leather, there is a light horizontal indentation across the front board, the rear board also has light rubbing corresponding to the outline of the commentary volume (positioned below in the solander box). The commentary volume has a previous owner's name to the front free endpaper. Both volumes are otherwise in first class condition. A magnificent Folio Society production, contains 12 double page maps on heavy paper, each measuring 31 x 22.5 inches and mounted on a guard so they open flat. Retail price for this limited edition is currently £895. Overall book condition is Near Fine.
