First Dublin edition. Complete in two volumes. Full calf leather bindings. Spines have five raised bands. Leather title and volume labels. Spine of volume II has a vertical crack but is held securely by cords. Some cracking to joints, but all boards securely attached. Loss to upper corner of front free endpaper in volume I. Contemporary notes in ink and pencil to endpapers and blanks in each volume. Upper margin of volume II page 1 has been excised. A few occasional marks but text is generally very clean throughout. Elegy written in a country churchyard includes a Latin translation by Robert Langrishe. The scarce Irish edition issued the same year as the first London edition. ESTC: T125261.
