He was the last expatriate Briton to hold the post of Curator of the Raffles Museum and was an active member of the Malayan Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society. He was also probably the best known photographer of Malayan life in the immediate aftermath of World War II. Although he is best known for his camera studies that illustrate Gerald Hawkins' Malaya, this book was his first collection of published Malayan photographs. It is a collection of mainly landscape studies with examples from every state on the peninsula. With a three page introduction by Malcolm MacDonald. 73 pages. Weight: 0.7kg.
