Well illus with drawings and photos, some in color. A dozen gun related articles by various writers, including Charles Roth, Marshall Andrews, Herb Glass, and Janet Graves. Oversized, extra postage outside the US.

Camden ME: Down East Books. Soft cover. Very Good. This is a collection of DOWN EAST MAGAZINES. Well over 600 copies, the earliest being issue #4, 1954, up through the early 2000s. Not a complete run by any means, although some years are complete. Some inevitable duplication. Condition of the majority is very good to excellent, alot being mint, a few having loose covers, several have notations on them, some having address labels. At this time, for sale as a lot only. Shipping would be problematic and expensive; pick-up would be best. Located near Bangor, Maine. Please call or email with questions. We have been setting these aside, as they came in, for the last 40 years, and now need the space they occupy. When we get a chance, we'll count them and post an actual figure.

New York: Harper & Bros, 1893. Hardcover. Good. Covers Volumes I through LXXXV (June 1850 - Nov. 1892). Covers quite worn/soiled; pencil scribbles on title page, hinge papers intact but rear flyleaf has pulled away. A sound copy, text clean and bright. 782 pgs. Extra postage outside the US.

Englewood Cliffs NJ: Prentice Hall, 1969. Blue Cloth. Very Good/Good. Minor edgewear, clean and unmarked. Jacket worn and rubbed. A collection of articles and essays from LIBERTY magazine, written by many notables of the day - Winston Churchill, Margery Sharp, Kathleen Norris, Mary Pickford, Benny Goodman, Shirley Temple, many others. Large volume, extra postage required outside the US.

New York. No Binding. Good+. Here are five issues of "Theatre Arts Monthly", all are in nice condition except Jan 1929 issue has a detached (but present) cover. A couple of pencil notations found. Detailed coverage of the theater in the 20s and 30s. Articles by/about Eddie Cantor, George Bernard Shaw, Charlie Chaplin, Noel Coward, Somerset Maugham, Orson Welles, many others. Included are: Jan 1929, Sep 1929, Aug 1935, Jul 1935, and Jun 1938. The Sept '29 issue is especially interesting as it is "The Motion Picture Special Issue". Scenes from films of the day, from many countries (faint stains to some pages). All issues have numerous B&W photos throughout.

Detailed articles on the great plays of the day. Issues included are: Jun 1940, May 1944, Jun 1944, Oct 1945, and Mar 1946.

1887. Leather/cloth. Good+. Wear to edges and corners, half of pg 5 missing, sound copy, unmarked. Bound version of The Woman's Magazine consisting of the twelve issues of 1887 (not bound in sequence). Many articles on various topics, numerous B&W photos, drawings, ads.
