July 1941" The book was written and inscribed long before Hawaii became an official US state, but just 4 months before Pearl Harbor was bombed. Contains beautiful photographic illustrations. The book describes the different islands and contains stories and history. Condition: Very Good - very minor wear to edges, spine slightly faded, pages and illustrations clean and bright.

An interesting fact of these times was that civil rights leader Susan B. Anthony was one of their first female policy holders.
