In 1983 we opened our shop near Harvard Square, and we're still here! The first room is full of equestrian books and ephemera in all fields and all languages. The second room is devoted to out-of-print books and catalogues on art, architecture, photography, design, archaeology, applied arts, gardens, book arts, and related fields. The emphasis is on scholarly material. We started out selling books part-time in 1973 as Blue Rider Books, and many friends and customers still remember us as "the Blue Rider."
