Vamp & Tramp, Booksellers, LLC

Birmingham, Alabama, United States

As Vamp & Tramp, Booksellers, LLC, Vicky and Bill Stewart represent over 300 contemporary fine presses and books artists. While they do have a website (www.vampandtramp.com) and do exhibit regularly at selected book fairs, their forte is taking the actual work to potential customers. They drive around the US from mid-January until Thanksgiving, taking the works they represent to institutional and private customers. Their mini-van becomes a traveling gallery, a movable feast of Book Arts. The Stewarts offer educational talks and workshops to groups of all kinds, spreading the word about the wonders of contemporary fine press and artists books.
