Wallace Berman in Conversation by Berman, Wallace et al

Easthampton & Woodbridge: Editions MUTA and Derringer Books, 2015. First edition. 12" Vinyl LP record in picture sleeve. One of a limited edition of 400 copies. New from the publishers. A previously lost recording published for the first time, featuring Wallace Berman discussing his work, art, literature and other matters with Shirley Berman, Hal Glicksman, Jack and Ruth Hirschman. Recorded by Hal Glicksman at the Berman home in Topanga Canyon in 1968. Mastered from the original tape recording and with a new introductory text by Tosh Berman as liner notes. "When I hear Wallace on this tape, I still can't recall his voice or sound. Some years ago Hal Glicksman played this tape to me and my mom when we were planning the retrospective right after Wallace died. What shocked me is that he was playing it in the background at a meeting and I didn't have the foggiest idea it was my dad on the tape. I spent the first 21 years of my life with Wallace, and when he died, his voice disappeared as well" This is a brand new vinyl LP. 55 minutes 55 seconds in length."

Wonderful Summer by Robin Ward [Jackie Ward]

US: Dot Records, 1963. Vinyl LP, original picture sleeve. Original US Mono pressing. Catalog No. DLP-3555. Brilliant LP by the session singer Jackie Ward, following up on the surprising success of the single of the title track. A brilliant pop record, replete with dubbed-in surf and bird sounds, with vocals sped up by binding splicing tape on the capstan of the recorder - the resulting voice change, which made Ward's voice sound younger, led to the name change. Robin was the name of Ward's daughter. Though this was the only hit that Ward recorded, she was subsequently an important session singer, and her voice can be heard in hundreds of movies. Vinyl VG++, showing some light sleeve scuff only - the vinyl still lustrous. The sleeve is vg+ with some light ringwear and a touch of rubbing at extremities. A nice copy of an LP increasingly hard to find in this condition.
