    London: Constable, 1931. Book. Fair. Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Fourth printing of the first edition of 1930. Original black quarter-cloth over silver-foil covered boards printed in green, beige and black. rubbing and handling wear to edges and spine; spine titles worn but still legible. Edges toned and slightly stained; endpapers cracked at interior hinge-fold (cloth backing still intact and holding well). Otherwise internally clean, tight and unmarked. There is an Egg Nog recipe in what appears to be hand-writing at the end "notes" section, but I think this may be a printed entry. Very neat -- an attractive publication. 286+2pp..
