Representative example of a part of the Qur'an in the distinctive Maghrebi script and a simple, attractive binding. The Tre Lune watermark (three crescent moons) is seen widely in papers used throughout the Islamic lands of the Mediterranean littoral, and suggests that the paper is of Venetian or possibly French manufacture.
