Conducting Books & Ephemera

Romeo and Juliet Fantasy-Overture (Third Version, 1880) by Peter Ilich Tchaikovsky

This study score is a high-quality reprint of the one first issued in Leipzig by Ernst Eulenburg in around 1910. The Eulenburg itself was based on the original 1881 score issued in Berlin by Bote & Bock. It is the third and final revised version of the piece. Reprint of Leipzig: Eulenburg, n.d. Plate E.E. 3793.

Trois Petites Pieces Montees by Satie, Erik

Though originally composed for piano four-hands, Satie was persuaded to orchestrate these pieces for a concert staged by Jean Cocteau presented on 21 February 1920 featuring works by Milhaud, Poulenc, and Auric. This digitally-enhanced study score is an unabridged reprint of the first edition issued in 1921 by Editions de la Sirene, Paris. As with all Petrucci Library Press scores, a percentage of each sale is contributed to support the award-winning free wiki for music scores and recordings, IMSLP/Petrucci Music Library. Original issue - Paris: Editions de la Sirene, 1921. Plate E.D. 65 L.S.
