Both covers and pages have lovely rounded corners. There is no table of contents, but contents include: Structure of Plants Woody Plants Ferns and Their Allies Flowering Plants Land Plants of Unusual Habits or Structure Gilt titles on spine are faded; slight fray to top and bottom of spine, name and pricing on fep. Handling wear. We noted spots on at least a dozen pages, including on the top of pages 8/9. Page xli has an inch tear in the top right margin. Page 41 has some letters written in the interior margin. Pages 69-79 have a stain in the lower right corner from a flower being pressed there. Page 102/103 has marks in the interior margin from a flower being pressed there and 105/106 also have marks in the interior margin from a stem being pressed there.
