In very good dark blue cloth boards, with blind stamped pegasus on front, gilt titles to spine; fairly tight, unmarked covers, spine ends frayed. Fairly clean end papers, with book plate on front paste down, with small mark and name on front free end paper. Slightly tanned cut edges. Very good text block, clean and tight. Last page of Glossary has a few notes by a previous owner. With 49 reproductions from famous pictures and statues, including colour frontispiece.

Name on half title page (which is slightly tanned- as is the end page); otherwise no tanned pages. A very nice copy .

Line draw images of a child and Pooh in fine blue line on a pink background on both front and rear end papers. Owners label pasted on front fixed end paper. Gilt top page edges . Otherwise basically clean but soiled with age. Many line drawn illustrations. Sadly pages 48 to 51 have been secured with aged cellotape leaving the usual brown stain. This could be remedied if book was re-bound.
