A lithograph after a painting by Bacon and printed by the Spanish printers, Arte. The sheet has some marginal tears which have been repaired and there is also remnants of an old crease mark,else in very good condition.Image size 50 x 37 cmsheet/poster size 70 x 45cmFrancis Bacon never produced any original lithographs.All the lithographs on the market are after his paintings which were made in limited editions and signed by him.There appears to be two limited editions of this lithograph title Reclining Figure. One made in 1966, signed from an edition of 200 copies,(size 50 x 37cm). As the size of the poster image is the same size as the 1966 limited edition that was issued, I am surmising that the same plate was also used for the poster. Just printed on different paper
