Dark green cloth with the English title on the spine and upper board in gilt, and with a design in blind on the upper board. And with the title and design on the lower board in Hebrew, A fine copy in a fine, unclipped dustwrapper. Housed in the publisher's cloth slipcase, similarly titled in English on one side and Hebrew on the other. Opening from the rear presents 64 full page illuminations prepared by the artist to carry the text. Opening from the front shows the various illuminations with their explanations, as well as the Biblical text in Hebrew and two versions in English. A fine, bright copy. The slipcase is a trifle sunned and with a bumped corner but is still in very good condition. Laid into the front is a copy of Illumination 9: "I am a rose of Sharon, A lily of the valleys..." This copy is signed and dated (2005) by the artist, and was only available with the deluxe edition.

Cloth backed pictorial boards showing Jocko, the teasing monkey, hanging from a tree and pulling the tails of two lions. 142pp. Illustrated in color throughout and printed on one side of the page only. Gift inscription "from Aunt Florence" dated 1909. Trace of soil; bottom edge worn else this is a near fine copy. The dustwrapper is present: Off-white paper printed on the upper panel with the same information as is on the title page. It is soiled and faded, and lacks pieces at the head and tail of the spine and at the fold. We can find no previous instance indicating that this title had a dustwrapper, and it is not even mentioned in the bibliographies. First editions of the Teasing Monkey are scarce to begin with; copies in dustwrapper are basically unheard of.
