Binding firm, though front gutter is cracked; Ochre boards with black lettering and ornamentation are slightly rubbed and bumped, with some fading on upper edges of front board. Last two pages list titles in Sammlung Schubert series, and pastedown presents ad for "Elemente der Stereometrie" by Gustav Holzmuller. 16mo.

Although there is no edition statement the 1952 copyright date and letters "H-K" by Harper & BROTHERS (not Harper & Row) suggest an early printing of the first edition. 184 p. with name of former owner on upper margin of pictorial front end page; occasional faint stains; pp. 182-184 detached and back gutter cracked. Wonderful ill. In absence of d.j. the boards have some buming and rubbing, faint stains and a couple of stray pen marks near upper edge of back panel. Needs some TLC.

Klett, 1996-01-01. hardcover. Very Good. 9x6x1. Close to 'like new' condition. Right upper corner lightly bumped; on the other hand, it has protective plastic cover over original hardcover, very neatly done. No marks inside, clean, crisp copy.

Tr. from Russian to Spanish by Jose Hamil Alvarez; paper fine and unaged, name of former owner, a professor, is on the end pages of both volumes but there are no other markings. Bindings are tight; the brown boards are clean with only light bumping at corners and very slight rubbing at crowns of spines. No d.j.s, but were probably issued without.
