Light cover soiling. There is a small marginal stain to a few leaves toward the front. No names or bookplates. In the original dust jacket although it is very worn. There is a large, triangular piece missing from the upper, rear, at the spine. Chipping at the upper and lower spine ends. Another larger piece missing from the upper, front. This affects half the title. A 3/4" chip to the lower, front edge. Wear along the fore edge folds, creasing. Soiling. Original price of $1.25 to the upper, front flap. The jacket is very scarce but poor. The first book written and illustrated by Cady. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
