The boards are worn and the gilt is faded but legible; the book is well-bound and generally clean and tight. The original map and panorama are lacking but a full size, quality facsimile will be provided. Other editions (POD) are available on-line but this is the original second edition of 1847. With 11 Maps and Plans by Bartholomew. Tight binding, map of Brussels loose. some neat notations and underlinings. 5 Pages have small tabs affixed to their tops. This edition is an entirely new work. Earlier editions dating from 1896 were titled "Belgium", "Belgium and The Ardennes", "Holland, Belgium, The Rrine and Black Forest" ... and is a first thus.

Cooke's Topographical Library, British Travelers Dictionary, Gloucestershire is an undated 1820s Half Leather hardcover book, published in London by Sherwood & Company. The last Gloucester Bishop listed in the book is Edward Rice 1825. It includes a fold out colored map of Gloucestershire and is a 3 1/2 x 5 1/2" with 178 pages. It has wear to the cover, a readable spine, browning and foxing of pages. Pictures available on request.

The contents have tape repairs to the early pages not affecting text. All pages are yellow with age. It appears all pages and fold out maps are present (when compared to a digital copy) The front page and image on verso has the most tape but it is generally confined to the edges. The overall condition of the contents is good minus. Photos available upon request.
