The German text was written on the lithographic stones by Heinz Jurgen and printed by A.Molling & Co. in Hannover. Illustrated with 10 full page woodcuts by Adam Weber. A presentation copy from the author on the front free end-paper and signed by him on the colophon. A near fine copy.

Original publishers black cloth and pictorial dust jacket illustrated with full page illustrations by Robin Jacques. A very good copy in slightly soiled and chipped d/w. with repairs to verso. A scarce first edition not to be confused with the later reprints published by WFL. in their different series dust jacket.

Printed on a sheet of cream laid paper c.22 x 17 cm. c.8.3/4 x 6.3/4 inches. with printed text in the lower margin. Illustrated after a design by Burne-Jones. Very good condition of a rare piece of ephemera.
