First edition hardback, one of 500 signed, numbered copies, a Fine copy in a Fine dust jacket. A very attractive volume, as are the other books in this series. Now out of print from the publisher, and I only have one left.

Collection of all Jack's collaborative stories, including those with Gardner Dozois, Michael Swanwick, Barry Malzberg, etc. haven't read all of them, but recommended based on the ones I have, especially "Down Among the Dead Men."

Signed by both editors (uncommon thus, as the two divorced and Jeanne Van Buren left the field), as well as contributors Gardner Dozois, Karen Joy Fowler, and one more person whose signature I cannot identify. Mostly original anthology of Vietnam War stories. There was a simultaneous trade paperback edition, and this hardback reportedly got a print run of under 750. $35.

unread. Lots of the usual suspects, including Neil Gaiman, Elizabeth
Hand, Karen Joy Fowler, etc. These are always worth picking up.

otherwise a NF- copy with spine lean, dust staining to page block edges,
and a line at heel. Sturdy reading copy of this volume.

St. Martin's, 1988. Hardback. Very Good/Near Fine-. Book Club Edition, an Ex-Library copy with all the usual flaws, otherwise VG/NF with some dust soiling and slight spine lean. The first of the Datlow/Windling collections, and a very fine one it is; Alan Moore's "A Hypothetical Lizard" is astonishingly good, the Haldeman poem and the Palwick story are among their best, and there's lots more good besides. A nice reading copy of a book that's hard to find as a first.

First edition hardback, an Ex-Library copy with most of the usual flaws (though no stamps on page block edges, no bands on dj, and the stickers inside the dj protector can usually be peeled off, meaning this has the potential to clean up quite nicely on the outside).

First edition hardback, a Fine- copy with a trace of foxing along inner gutters (a common flaw) in a Fine- dust jacket with a trace of wear at points and along spine join at heel, but, unlike so many copies, NO remainder speckling at head or heel. Davidson's most acclaimed fantasy, telling the story of an alchemist Virgil Magus' quest to create a "virgin speculum," a magic mirror that had never reflected a human's face, and his quest to rescue the beautiful princess shown there. Pringle, Modern Fantasy 100 #43. Recommended. Not a difficult book, but nice copies are not as common as they used to be.
