Scarlet cloth bound slipcase with large paper title label mounted to LH panel of slipcase. A very bright set, showing little or no signs of use. Slipcase is unmarked, and bar two small impressions to the LHS, is in fine condition. Very minor rubs to spine ends of dust jackets only. After the success of his bestselling title "The Hare with the Amber Eyes,' on a group of family owned netsuke, he looks at the development, history and aesthetics of Chinese porcelain. The Waterstone's exclusive edition seems to be identical in all respects to the Chatto trade first, bar the signature and sticker. Light shelfwear to book with some minor edgewear to wrapper.
