Lightly tanned and foxed cut edges. Good to very good text block, clean, firm pages, but first section a little loose. With 6 illustrations by C. Fleming Williams, including frontispiece.

London: George G. Harrap, 1915 Edition not known. In brown quarter suede, gilt titles and brown cloth with outline illustration on front cover; tightly bound, fairly clean covers, shelf-cocked. Quite clean pale brown end papers, with name on front free end paper; back free end paper missing. Gilt cut edges on top edge, worn; the tail and fore edges are tanned and deckled. The text block is well thumbed, a little grubby, slightly tanned around the edges and quite tight. Black and white frontispiece illustration. Small holed the size of pin pricks on prelims. Overall good and good for age. Rare.

In brown, black, grey and beige illustrated boards, with embossed image of king and his train spreading onto back strip, good, tight, fairly clean covers and spine, but with frayed corners and ends. "The Clevedon Community Bookshop Co-operative Bindery Team" have cleaned the covers. The end papers are tanned. "The Bindery Team" have made a tissue repair to front end paper join. The tail and fore cut edges are deckled; all are age-toned. Good text block, not tanned, tight, with full page and small illustrations by Alan Wright. Frontispiece in situ with tissue guard. 40 page catalogue for publisher at end.

The Bindery Team have tipped in the loose plates. A good, tight copy.
