Box 1: "The Belt - Is made from the finest sterilized fabric and pure rubber....It is constructed without buttons, buckles, or any contrivance that would cause annoyance when worn, either under or over the corset...." Box 2: "Sanitary Apron - Supplies perfectly the universal demand among ladies for a device to protect their underwear and dresses from becoming soiled at menstrual periods....The apron is made with a fine nainsook top attached to sanitary rubber sheeting...." 4.5" x 7.25" and 5.75" x 9.75" The box for the apron is shown in facsimile on the website of the Museum of Menstruation and Women's Health. We find no other listings for these actual product boxes. Logan Fabric Company was a part of the Dr. J.B. Lynas & Son Company, a diversified Logansport business established in 1873.

New York: Sarony, 1860. Original document. Very Good. Half-length sepiatone portrait of Field, wearing jacket, vest, white dickey and collar, and bow tie, looking slightly to his right. Printed under the image is "Sarony, 680 Broadway." Written in light pencil on the verso is "C.W. Field" [not an authentic signature]. Field (1819-1892) was born and died in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. His first business venture was in paper manufacturing where he made a small fortune. In 1854, he joined Samuel F.B. Morse and others in laying a 400-mile telegraph line. The next year, they formed the American Telegraph Company, laid the first trans-atlantic telegraph cable, &c. Field went home to a jubilant welcome in 1858, &c.
