First edition; stated first printing. The book is in 'Like New' conditon. Author's full signature is on the first flyleaf page. The clipped dj (upper corner of front flap) , in a BroDart cover, wear at the top front corner and top of the spine.

Stated first edition; first printing. The book is in excellent condition. The only condition faults we found were a miniscule on the front cover and light wear at the top and bottom of the spine. The unclipped dj ($3.00), encased in a transparant cover, has a large tear and missing piece at the lower right front and some wear along the edges. Contains 19 Howard Fast short stories.

Published by the author after he was unable to find a publishing house to take it due to McCarthy era politics.

Book is in excellent condition. The only fault we could find are marbleized shadowing on the inside covers and adjacent endpapers. Tight binding. Clear, clean pages without tears, marks, foxing or toning. Outside covers in fine condition. An excellent copy of this hard to find monograph edited by Marc Felix and focused on the ancient and tribal execution knives and derivatives of Central Africa. Slight shelf wear along cover edges. otherwise in 'as new' condition. Text in French, English, German and Dutch. With b&w photos and illustrations.

A very rare signed first edition of this beautiful book of photos of Portland Oregan.This was a complimentary copy from the Chiles Foundation. Stunning color photos, about half of them full page, with captions throughout the book. Author Nicholas full signature, and photographer Forster's initials on the first tile page. The book, with thick, slick pages would be like new except for some slight chipping at the bottom of the spine which has carried over to the bottom dj spine. Dj also has some light soiling and folds on the inside flaps.
