The dust wrapper, by Kenneth Farnhill, has one closed tear to the rear panel and some light handling marks throughout. It has not been price clipped (21s. net). The boards are free from notable chips and marks, with a slight and consistent crease at the spine. The internals are clean, but slightly foxed at the front and rear preliminaries. The text blocks are also so slightly foxed at the side edge. This copy is free from inscriptions and is, overall, in very good (or better) condition.

The Richard Chopping dust wrapper is fine and although price clipped at all four corners retains the first state price of 10s 6d net. The boards are equally fine, with the gilt titling at the front panel and spine without any abrasion. Internally, there is no wear to note but some imperceptible rippling to the endpapers. There are no inscriptions. This is a fine copy.

The text blocks are bright and white throughout. Overall, this is a near fine copy from a thrice Nobel Prize nominated author.

London: Michael Joseph, 1986. First edition, first printing. This is a very good (or better) copy. The dust wrapper is only slightly sunned at the spine, correctly showing the original £12.95 net price. The boards are tight and the text blocks bright and white throughout. There is the Ex-Libris label of former Conservative counsellor David Fagan to the front fly, thus the signature also reads 'David HI! Dick Francis' in blue ink. This is a very good (or better) copy overall, marred by the Ex-Libris label and sunning.

The dust wrapper has some very slight shelf wear though has not been price clipped with the £18.99 net price visible. The boards are fine, as are the text blocks. The author's signature is flat signed to the full title page in blue ink. Overall, this is a fine copy of a fine reissue. Published to coincide with the launch of Ron Howard's blockbuster film, and following on from the huge success of the eponymous West End and Broadway play, Frost/Nixon tells the extraordinary story of how David Frost pursued and landed the biggest fish of his career.
