Description:
n.p.: North American Productions, Oreg., Ltd, 1977. Soft cover. Fine. ORIGINAL movie poster (not one of the reproductions) of one of the better Bigfoot movies according to David Coleman, author of The Bigfoot Filmography. Near fine to fine on glossy stock in folded condition (and will be shipped folded) with folds showing. A whopping 27" x 41" in beautiful color. A dramatic image with great color. The poster reads in part, "The Incredible Story of Seven Men Who Defied Death in a Primitive Wilderness Where No Man Had Gone Before ... and Survived to Tell the Shocking Story of this Legendary Creature!" Coleman dedicated almost two full pages in his big, quarto-sized book to this film. I quote: "... notable in the genre for the strange yet fascinating tonal blend it achieves. At once a classic family-friendly nature film and a pseudo-documentary ..." "Remarkably and against all odds ... (the film) skillfully balances the multiple genre formats with assured directorial ease." "The film is also notable…

Description:
Peru, Iowa: Wells Fargo, 1899. Original. Soft cover. Very Good. Nicely frames page from Wells Fargo & Co. way-bill record book. Under glass. Framed size 9 1/4" x 15". This page is completely filled out in ink and is from the Peru, Iowa, office and dated July, 1899 with entries between the 1st and the 13th. Destinations were to San Francisco, Des Moines, Prescott (Arizona), and Chicago. Columns include names delivered to, values, and contents (in abbreviation). The Messenger has signed his name. Very nice piece in appropriate narrow mat and frame. This has been in my personal collection for many years and it is time to send it to a new home. It will be packed carefully and shipped at cost to buyer at cheapest rate unless buyer wants a faster express. I could ask Wells Fargo to send it to you but I'm not sure they will be willing! I would insist they do so via stagecoach.

Description:
Seattle: Univ. of Wash, 1984. First Edition. Hardcover. Fine/like new. 4to cloth with silver Indian pictorial line details/drawings. 210pp. Illustrated profusely with vintage b/w photos. Index. A long, several line inscription originally written by Farr to May Dull Vallance on a card or other source has been re-written in Vallance's hand on the title page. She even signed it in behalf of Farr. Vallance provided several photos for the book. Vallance also wrote a brief presentation to another person, Caroline Davis. Vallence also wrote some rather extensive & interesting annotations below several photos. This book & the exhibit from which it was drawn was the result of the author's belief that late 19th Century & 20th Century Blackfeet culture, & memory of cultural history, was being lost. The extensive collection of photos, snapshots, etc., and the extensive text provided by Farr go a long ways in restoring that memory. A tremendous book & nice association copy. Fine in dj.
