First Edition of this short fantasy novel; in Bleiler; 107 pages; bound in plain binder's cloth with the author and title on the spine; minor spine repair; very good. A regular edition was not published until 1923 by Collins; this edition must have been produced in a minuscule quantity; the author has made several holograph corrections in the text. Presentation copy; inscribed by the author, "Robert Frost from Eleanor Farjeon, Feb. 1915." Farjeon was a confidante of Frost's friend and fellow poet, Edward Thomas.

Writing on Progressives Citizens of America letterhead in 1947, the author thanks Norman Corwin for his contribution to a fundraising auction.
