An early example of the restated and enlarged edition by Brynildsen. 1128 pages. With the signature of Einar Olson of Gale College (Wisconsin) and the bookplate of Norwegian-American collector Herman Gimmestad to the front endpapers, otherwise unmarked. Olson was the school custodian and Gimmestad's father, Lars M., was both professor and president. The covers are edgeworn and rubbed, the spine lettering is faded, but the exterior has not sustained any damage detrimental to the handling of the volume. Hinges solid; binding square.
