Hardcover. large 4to, 12.5 x 9.5 inches (32 x 24 cms), 59pp, black cloth with with cross design and other decorations heavily blocked on covers, two corners bruised, contents printed red and black throughout with decorated initials, headpieces and tailpieces, two additional typed pages tipped in, first gathering loose, text complete and clean, ten thumb tabs on fore edge. The text contents, although intact are now detached from the covers; a very rudimentary attempt was made at some point to glue the contents back into the covers but this was unsuccessful leaving the marbled endpapers defective and torn etc, I would describe this as a usable reading copy - fair only
