It has a name and date (1881) on a front end paper; otherwise it is unmarked. It has some light rubbing, most noticeable at the tips of the corners and the ends of the spine were there is some minor fraying. The beveled boards are covered in green cloth with embossed red titles and designs on the spine and front. The front has a gilt design of travel luggage and birds against a red circle. It is profusely illustrated with black & white drawings. It has 405 red edges pages and decorative gray end papers, a lovely book. NAP and owner's date indicate this is a first edition.

It has a name and date (1882) on a front end paper; otherwise it is unmarked. It has some light rubbing, most noticeable at the tips of the corners and the ends of the spine were there is some minor fraying. The hinges are split, showing mesh, more so at the bottom. Both are still holding well, but are a bit loose. The beveled boards are covered in red and tan cloth with tan titles and designs on the spine and front. The front has a gilt design of hieroglyphics with neat camel and sphinx. It is profusely illustrated with black & white drawings. It has 287 pages plus ads and pictorial green end papers.

The paper at the bottom 1" of the rear hinge is beginning to split with seemingly no affect.

The corners of the front board are lightly bumped. The ends on the spine, which is slightly darked, are mildly rubbed. It has pictorial end papers (map of the region) and has 251, bright, clear pages plus a description of the trilogy of the Bounty. The boards are covered in light green cloth with silver titles on the spine and a silver boat on the front.
