London: Printed only for Thomas Hope, 1760. Hardcover. Very Good+/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. The title page for the first part is dated 1700, the title page for the second part and the Hawkins dedication are dated 1760, so it seems to be the 1760 edition. the book is clean, tight, square and unmarked with contemporary spine covering of tan calf with five raised bands and bright gilt titles. The boards appear to be the original in brown leather and brass clasps at the fore edge. They have been rubbed to rounding at the corners. The front paste down has the name of John Bell Thirsk. The first part has 302 clear pages with occasional toning and some minor damp stain in the upper corner spine for a dozen or so page near the end. The second part has 128 pages plus an index.
